Tomaž DobnikarI graduated in 1981 at the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana, division mathematics and physics. After a couple of years working as a teacher of mathematics and physics and computer science as optional subject, I got employed in NLB as a programmer. Here I obtained additional qualifications and skills in the area of information system planning, project management and quality management. In 2003 I was one of the first in Slovenia to undergo the EOQ quality systems management training course and obtained the EOQ Quality Systems Manager certificate. I shared my knowledge and skills in the area of quality systems management with my colleagues at various meetings and conferences, for which I prepared several articles and papers (INFOS, SZKO, etc.). As a project manager I introduced the first Information System Development Standard in NLB and upgraded it into the NLB Information Systems Development and Change Methodology in force today. I also set up the quality management system in the Information Technology Management Centre in NLB, which has been ISO 9001 certified since 2001. In my private life I spend most of my spare time with my family and two sons, with whom I share the same hobby – car modelling. Here as well, the philosophy of quality helps us achieve extraordinary results. My second passion pervaded with quality is listening to music on cutting-edge HI-FI or somewhat audiophile equipment. |
